I grew up in Hopkinsville, KY, just outside Fort Campbell.  I graduated high school in 2000, and I entered Boyce College of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary the same year.  When the terrorists attacked in 2001, God led me to join the Army National Guard.

I served with the 101st Airborne out of Fort Campbell where my comrades encouraged me to become an officer.  I looked around for options and found Marion Military Institute.  I graduated with an Associate's Degree and then enrolled in Judson College's Distance Learning Program.  (Yes, they let men do that!)  Besides, with my wife working there we received a nice discount.  After completing my degree, we traveled to New Orleans for Seminary.  I was called to pastor Bridgedale Baptist Church in February 2008 and continue serving this congregation.
